5 days agoTonight our Buffalo City Hall will be lit up in ORANGE to show support for March being MS Awareness Month. Multiple sclerosis, or MS, impacts somewhere between 400,000 and 1 million Americans. Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month is a time to bring attention to a disease that many in the medical profession are still working to understand on a deeper level. Check out City Hall if you are in the area and stay tuned for other activities this month to support those living with MS. Awareness, education and support can all make a difference. Thank you.
2 weeks agoI can’t remember last time I had a beef burger. It’s been a while. Years. Maybe decades. And I am so much happier and more satisfied than I have ever been with my food choices because of how I feel. I have found taste, nutrition, and joy in the choices I make when I eat. Truly. My goals are high protein, high healthy fat, high fiber, low saturated fat, nutritionally dense, low sugar, filling and delicious! This breakfast of avocado toast(Ezekiel bread+avocado+chia seeds+drizzle of avocado oil), egg white bite (pre-made with egg whites, tomato, kale, hemp seeds, cottage cheese, garlic, and red pepper), and Yogurt bowl (plain Greek yogurt+blueberries+strawberry+ seeds+ nuts) are supporting me to stay on task, focused, and energized for hours! What did you have for breakfast? #eatwellbuffalo#Nutritionallifestudio , #bestlife#healthy#buffalo#focus
1 week agoBaking is often associated with comfort foods. Eating and enjoying the comfort foods -when they are made a little healthier - has a dual purpose. I made this Zucchini-Walnut loaf with apples instead of sugar, added seeds and lots of healthy grated unpeeled zucchini for a wholesome, moist, and delicious treat. Whole wheat flour and cinnamon actually provide stress relief for me- it’s a kind of outlet and a way to express myself. The best part is sharing it with others- and keeping a few pieces for myself. Self care. #eatwellbuffalo#bestlife#healthyfood#buffalo#selfcare
