Chickpea-Avocado Hummus

A crowd-favorite recipe, this yummy hummus can be used as an appetizer, breakfast spread, or on a sandwich! Versatile and healthy, make a double batch and keep it in the refrigerator. We guarantee it won't last very long due to the demand for it's delicious flavor.

  • 1 avocado
  • 1 15 oz can low sodium organic chickpeas (rinsed)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt


  • Blend all ingredients together (using a food processor or blender) until smooth
  • Place in a bowl, cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve
